Founder - C. Amalia Charikiopoulou
Ambitious and visionary, Amalia is committed to harnessing the transformative power of contemporary art. Having an interdisciplinary background in fine arts, philosophy, art history, and communication, she brings a solid understanding of both the intellectual and creative dimensions of art. Amalia founded LAVREOTIKI on the belief that art holds the potential to transform how we understand and engage with the world. By creating meaningful places—spaces where individuals can explore and reflect on the multifacetedness of life and societies—art becomes a catalyst for awareness and connection. The projects initiated by the organization are rooted in the relevance of art within today’s rapidly evolving landscape. By bridging local heritage with global conversations, these initiatives inspire creativity and foster empowered, engaged communities.
For the moments that audiences defy that sublimity stems from life,
I feel strong to raise my body and purseu that fragility is gracefulness.
